Special Friends Collective

Friends in the Kitchen – The class is designed to teach essential skills like sanitation, food safety, basic cooking, and baking. Each month has a different theme and provides a simple menu with visual recipes to help participants follow along. The program aims to be a fun and educational experience for everyone involved.

Craft Nights – These craft classes encourage our special friends to bring out their creative side! At the end of the year, we bring all of our crafts to a market and sell them. This not only teaches creativity skills but also face-to-face communication skills.

School Supply Drive & Handout

Our School Supply Drive is an annual initiative that provides school supplies and backpacks to students from disadvantaged families. In 2025, the project partnered with Livonia Public Schools to identify students in need, helping a total of 250 students, which was more than double the number of students helped in 2024. The project’s goal for 2026 is to assist 400 students. All monetary donations are used directly to purchase supplies, enabling us to acquire more items by shopping for deals.
