News Statement - Project Transition
Hi everyone! Thank you so much for joining me today. I’ve been buzzing with excitement to share some life-changing news—not just for me, but for the future of The Share Kindness Project.
As many of you know, our mission has always been about growth and following our dreams. Well, today, those two things are coming together in a way I never could have imagined.
First, I have a bit of a personal announcement. I am so incredibly honored to share that I have been accepted into theDisney College Program!
It’s a dream come true, but it also brought up a big question:How do I keep leading this organization I love while stepping into this new chapter in Florida? The answer ended up being the catalyst for the most exciting evolution in our history.
Because of this opportunity, and because we want our team to have the same freedom to pursue their dreams,The Share Kindness Project is moving 100% online.
We’re doing this for three big reasons:
- Flexibility: If I can lead from Disney, and our volunteers can contribute from their dorms, their homes, or a coffee shop, we prove that our mission isn’t tied to a zip code.
- Focus: We’re taking every dollar that used to go toward office rent and putting it straight into our programs. We’re trading bricks and mortar for more impact.
- Reach: We are breaking down our walls. We want to be a resource for people everywhere, not just people who can drive to our office.”
This move to digital is our own version of ‘Main Street’—a place where everyone is welcome, no matter where they are. We’ve even created new roles, like ourKindness Hero Coordinator, to make sure that even though we’re remote, we never lose that personal, magical touch that defines us.
We need you to help us build this new digital world! Please head over to our website to see our new volunteer listings. Whether you’re a digital native or just want to support this new chapter, there’s a place for you.
Thank you for supporting my journey and for believing in the future of the project. I’ll see you all in the comments—and soon, I’ll be seeing you from the ‘Most Magical Place on Earth!’
Signed,
